Trademark Usage Guidelines (Public)

These guidelines apply to anyone using the Marks, including partners, developers, media, and the community.

1) Basic rules

  • Use the marks as adjectives, not nouns or verbs.

    • ✅ “the GOSH platform,” “built on Acki Nacki technology.”

    • ❌ “a GOSH,” “GOSH‑ing,” “to Acki Nacki something.”

  • Spelling and capitalization must be exact

    • GOSH (all caps); Acki Nacki (two words, each capitalized); Die Last (two words, title case).

  • Symbol use

    • European Union: Use ® with GOSH® (EUTM 018682342), ACKI NACKI® (EUTM 019121096), and DIE LAST® (EUTM 019121097).

    • United States: Use GOSH™. If you reference ACKI NACKI or DIE LAST in U.S.-targeted materials, designate them as well.

    • Rest of world: Use unless and until a local registration is published by us here.

  • Include attribution once per page (or document) where the mark appears, using exactly one of the following required wordings:

    • Global (unspecified jurisdiction): “GOSH, ACKI NACKI, and DIE LAST are trademarks used under license by GOSH Technology Ltd..”

    • EU‑only materials: “GOSH®, ACKI NACKI®, and DIE LAST® are registered EU trade marks used under license by GOSH Technology Ltd..”

    • U.S.‑only materials: “GOSH™, ACKI NACKI™, and DIE LAST™ are trademarks used under license by GOSH Technology Ltd..”

2) What you may do (without separate permission)

  • Truthful, nominative references to describe your compatibility, integrations, or coverage (e.g., “for the GOSH platform,” “analytics for Acki Nacki nodes”), provided you:

    • Use only plain word marks (no logos),

    • Keep references proportional and not prominent as your own brand

    • Include the required attribution wording somewhere reasonable (site footer, README, press piece, etc.).

  • Editorial and media use in news, commentary, academic or comparative discussions, with proper attribution and without altering logos.

3) What you may not do (without written permission)

  • No naming your product, token, service, company, game, DAO, or domain using or starting with our Marks, or confusingly similar variations:

    • ❌ “GOSHScan,” “AckiNacki Wallet,” “DieLast RPG,” “gosh‑tools.io,” “ackinacki‑mining.com.”

    • ✅ “Indexer for the GOSH platform,” “Wallet compatible with Acki Nacki.”

  • No logos (or modified logos), icons, or stylizations, unless explicitly licensed.

  • No implication of affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or official status (e.g., “official,” “certified,” “authorized”) without written approval.

  • No placement of Marks on merchandise (stickers, shirts, hardware, etc.) for sale or giveaways without written approval.

  • No token or NFT names that incorporate or are confusingly similar to the Marks (e.g., “GOSH Coin,” “Acki,” “NACKI,” “DieLast Token”). Use descriptive terms instead.

  • No use in or with illegal, defamatory, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable content.

4) Logos & Visual treatment (if licensed)

  • Use only the most current, official artwork supplied by GOSH Technology or GOSH Operating Co.

  • Maintain clear space and legibility; do not rotate, recolor, stretch, crop, or place on busy backgrounds.

  • Do not combine our Marks/logos with your logos or other graphics; do not create lockups or hybrid marks.

5) Open‑source & developer naming

  • Official repos/modules may use approved namespaces (e.g., gosh‑, ackinacki‑) only when published by the official orgs. Third‑party repos must not appear “official.” Prefer formats like awesome‑gosh, sdk‑for‑ackinacki, with an attribution note.

  • Package names (e.g., crates, NPM, PyPI) must avoid the Marks unless clearly nominative and non‑confusing (e.g., for‑ackinacki‑sdk), with attribution in the README.

6) Domains, social handles & events

  • Do not register domains or social handles that contain or start with the Marks (or confusingly similar misspellings). Community groups may use formats like “GOSH User Group – {City}” only with written permission and with a visible disclaimer that the group is independent and not officially affiliated.

7) Proper descriptive use

  • Always pair the mark with a generic descriptor at first mention:

    • GOSH developer platform

    • Acki Nacki consensus protocol / blockchain technology

    • Die Last game title

8) Legal notes

  • These guidelines do not grant any license to use logos or any rights beyond those expressly allowed above.

  • Internal use among connected entities is governed by mutual cross‑licensing; third parties need separate written permission.

  • We actively use and police the GOSH, ACKI NACKI, and DIE LAST marks across all goods/services for which they are registered and used.

  • We will take appropriate action against unauthorized uses of the marks or confusingly similar trade names, logos, domains, social handles, or product names, including where such uses are likely to cause confusion, deception, dilution, or constitute unfair competition.

  • Classification under the Nice system is an administrative tool. It does not excuse infringing or confusing uses merely because a different class number is cited; where the law provides, enforcement may extend to related goods/services and to protection against dilution of well‑known marks.

  • Nothing here restricts lawful nominative or descriptive fair use as permitted by applicable law. No implied license is granted.

  • We may update these guidelines; continued use constitutes acceptance. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

9) Reporting misuse / asking permission

Please report suspected misuse or request permission at: legal@gosh.sh. Include your name, organization, intended use (mockups if relevant), territories, and timeline.
